Air Travel and Ground Transportation
The closest airport to LSA's Baltimore office is BWI airport, approximately 16 minutes away by car, and 40 minutes away by light rail. Leaving BWI by light rail, get off at Camden Yards. From here, The Lutheran Center is a 15-20 minute walk or a 3-5 minute cab ride. Walk east down Conway Street for three blocks turn right onto Light Street, and The Lutheran Center is two blocks up on the right (on the corner of Key Highway and Light Street)
Train
If taking Amtrak into Baltimore, Penn station is the most accessible train station with cabs, buses and the light rail available right outside the station. If taking the light rail, get on at Penn North and get off at Charles Center. As you leave the station, head east on W Baltimore Street, turn right on Charles Street, left on E Barre Street and right at Light Street. It is approximately a 15 minute walk.
Driving Directions
From the North - Take I-83 South into downtown Baltimore (the highway ends in the city). Continue straight for about two blocks and turn right onto Lombard Street. Continue for about 0.5 miles on Lombard Street and turn left onto Light Street. The Lutheran Center is about four blocks up on your right (on the corner of Key Highway and Light Street).
From the South or West - Take I-395 (Exit 53 from I-95) and pass M&T Bank Stadium and Camden Yards stadium on your left. Veer right onto Conway Street. Follow Conway for about three blocks to Light Street. Turn right onto Light Street and The Lutheran Center is about two blocks up on your right, across from the Maryland Science Center.

Bus
The Charm City Circulator is a free bus service in Baltimore. The Purple Route runs past The Lutheran Center. Stops 322 and 327 are the closest. The shuttle is intended to reduce congestion and greenhouse gas pollution by offering a convenient, reliable and eco-friendly form of public transportation. The shuttles run every ten minutes during service hours.
Parking
Please refrain from parking next door at Christ Lutheran Church.
(P1) Hughes Street Parking Lot — $10 flat fee (Exact Change Required)- This is a nearby lot, located directly across from The Lutheran Center.
(P2) Deaton Hospital Parking Garage — High capacity garage nearby at The Deaton Hospital Center, one block from The Lutheran Center on East Lee Street.
(P3) Harbor Court Hotel Parking Garage — High capacity garage located one block from The Lutheran Center on East Lee Street.
(P4) Rusty Scupper Restaurant — $16 flat fee - approx. ½ mile east from The Lutheran Center on Key Highway; lovely walk along Inner Harbor past Federal Hill.

Two-hour limited street parking may also be available. Parking is via a kiosk payment system. After parking, look for the kiosks in each block. Make payment (cash or credit card) and place the receipt on the dashboard of your car. The area around The Lutheran Center is patrolled regularly for expired parking receipts.
