    Lutheran Services in America Represented Lutheran Social Ministry at NonProfit Times Event

    On September 17, 2015, The NonProfit Times held its annual "NPT Power & Influence Top 50 Gala" at The National Press Club in Washington, D.C., to honor the nonprofit sector leaders named to this year's NPT Power & Influence Top 50 list. This year, LSA's President and CEO Charlotte Haberaecker was named for the first time to the Top 50 list, and had the opportunity to attend the gala event, representing Lutheran social ministry and our members.     The LSA Disability Network Convenes to Learn and Celebrate

    Forty representatives from 20+ LSA-DN member organizations gathered in Chicago at the ELCA headquarters for the Summer 2015 meeting on August 6 & 7. Network members learned from each other and several expert speakers about emerging trends in supports for people with disabilities. The network also celebrated the upcoming retirements of both Cindy Schroeder from Mosaic and Bill Nolan from KenCrest. Bill and Cindy have been the backbone of LSA-DN for many years and will be truly missed!
