January 13, 2003 - Baltimore, MD - LSA to Coordinate Senior Corp Web-Based Recruitment System

Lutheran Services in America is one of a select group of national organizations chosen to work with the Corporation for National and Community Service to help coordinate a new web-based recruitment system that matches Americans age 55 and older (and others) with volunteer opportunities in their communities. This project uses a state-of-the-art website to connect quality opportunities for service and potential volunteers.

To participate, you must first list your organization and its volunteer opportunities on the website. Then interested older adults, and others, can connect with you directly through the internet. At the same time, your organization will receive national exposure.
