The over 300 health and human service organizations of Lutheran Services in America (LSA) create opportunities with people in thousands of communities in all 50 states and the Caribbean.

Working neighbor to neighbor through health care, aging and disability support, community development, housing, and child and family strengthening, these organizations touch the lives of more than six million people every year – or one in 50 Americans – and have aggregated annual incomes over $16.6 billion.

As an alliance of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, and their related health and human service organizations, Lutheran Services in America collects and aggregates information about the Lutheran system of health and human service organizations.

Working Together in Vital Communications: News Releases, Media Inquiries and Consultation

As a multi-faceted organization of more than 300 member health and human service organizations nationwide, LSA seeks to increase awareness that inspires target audiences to take action and advance the work of Lutheran social ministries across the United States.

LSA releases periodic national news releases that comment on priority policy areas or provide insight into an area of service.  You are invited to send your news releases for this purpose. In addition, LSA's Director of Communications can serve as a consultant to you regarding media inquiries.
