Director Strategic Initiatives – Health Care Collaboratives

 
National nonprofit membership organization seeks a highly motivated professional to lead senior service health care initiatives across a national network of health and human service providers. The position will work directly with CEOs and leaders of some of the country’s largest nonprofit senior service providers and offers an exciting blend of product development, relationship management, grant management and project management responsibilities! The successful candidate will have experience in program management, familiarity with health care reimbursement financing, strong relationship management and communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead project management activities and work with member organizations to effectively implement strategic initiatives that focus on addressing the population health needs of seniors. Working with member organizations, manage project deliverables and engage funding partners to support the work.
  • Identify and evaluate business opportunities. Leverage new partnerships and build relationships with national foundations and other funding partners such as health insurers and healthcare systems.
  • Lead grants management activities including, overall planning and coordination of resources, tasks, and necessary steps to meet grant obligations, ensuring all grant funder expectations are met.
 
Qualifications:
Experience in project management and/or grant management with a record of success. General familiarity with health care reimbursement financing and emerging business models preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple tasks. Demonstrated relationship management skills working with a diverse group of stakeholders a plus.
 
Experience:
4-6 years relevant experience in nonprofit, healthcare, foundation, research institute, membership organization or equivalent experience.
 
Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Health Administration, Public Administration, Business Administration or related field.
