At the heart of America, Omaha, NE will be the host city for Lutheran Services in America 2014 Annual Conference. This convergence is sure to result in a record number of members and partners sampling the best in Midwestern hospitality and the energy of a city on the move.
Theme: Future Forward: Leading Change, Renewing Mission
The future of Lutheran social ministry is changing rapidly, but the mission – the call to love and serve our neighbors – hasn’t changed. The 2014 LSA Annual conference in Omaha will focus on how health and human services professionals are defining the future and renewing and transforming their social ministries.
The conference theme – Future Forward: Leading Change, Renewing Mission – captures this focus. During this time of time of unprecedented challenges, we see great opportunities. Our Lutheran social ministry leaders are shaping the future and leading the change – both as individual organizations and as a connected network of community leaders. We’ll recognize the power of possibilities and celebrate how our members are always moving forward. Our network is strong – we will celebrate how our members are building on this strength, and doing so without ever losing sight of their mission to love and serve their neighbors.
We’ve worked hard to bring a high-caliber of speaker to the Annual Conference to move us ahead with our theme of Future Forward: Leading Change, Renewing Mission.
