The Leadership Academy is an intense leadership program for mid to senior level managers or others identified as "developing leaders" who work for Lutheran organizations.
The program provides top notch speakers, a framework to understand and shape leadership style, a network of colleagues, a growing understanding of Lutheran social ministry and each individual's call to serve.
Participants take back to their co-workers and organizations:
• A better understanding of core values and purpose of Lutheran social ministries
• Greater understanding of making sound financial and resource decisions
• Insight into the values of the organization and communicating these values to others
• Tools to help recognize and reward the accomplishments of others
• Increased confidence in decision making
• Skills to look ahead and lead change
The Leadership Academy is made possible through a generous gift from the Norman C. Berg Fund, administered by the Lutheran Retirement Ministries of Alamance County. The brochure for the Leadership Academy was generously donated by Bethesda Lutheran Communities, Inc. Lutheran Services in America and its members offer their sincere thanks for this support.
