    Plans are well underway for the 2017 LSA Annual Conference, May 3-6 in Washington, DC. The largest event of the year, the Annual Conference celebrates LSA's national, strong and trusted network, bringing together hundreds of Lutheran social ministry leaders. We will welcome a dynamic slate of speakers for the Annual Conference, both from within our social ministry network and outside the network, including two of our keynote presenters.

    Upcoming Partnership with LEO at the University of Notre Dame

    LSA will partner with the Wilson Sheehan Lab for Economic Opportunities (LEO) at the University of Notre Dame on a new learning cohort for LSA members with programs targeting self-sufficiency among people living in poverty. LSA members will have the opportunity to partner with LEO on rigorous program evaluations and participate in peer learning.

    When Stephanie Chedid arrived at Luther Manor as only the third Chief Executive Officer in the organization's history, she became the first woman to shoulder the role. A life plan community, Luther Manor has three campuses across Wisconsin and is home to over 500 residents and nearly the same number of employees.
