Christie Henrichs Talks About "Blank Page" for Aging in America

CEO of Tabitha Health Care, a member of LSA, presents TEDx Talk in Lincoln
Tuesday, February 17, 2015

Disrupting the idea of a "one size fits all" approach to caring for people as they age, Christie Henrichs recently presented a "TED Talk" at the TEDx Lincoln conference.

In her presentation, Christie challenges the current "one size fits all" health care system and proposes instead "the blank page" that views each person as human being and allows freedom of choices based on an individual’s personal desires and circumstances.

Christie has spent the majority of her adult life in service to seniors, with a commitment to improving their quality of life. She now serves as president and CEO of Tabitha, a non-profit provider of health care services for older adults, and a member of Lutheran Services in America. Tabitha offers Nebraska’s first and only comprehensive line of Elder Care services. Through advanced in-home support, innovative living communities, exceptional rehabilitation services, experienced skilled nursing care and compassionate hospice support, Tabitha provides innovative care in southeast Nebraska.
