LSA was well represented at the meeting held by the White House on April 15-16 on the topic of: Partners in Health: Aligning Clinical Systems, Faith and Community Assets. LSA members in attendance included Mark Stutrud, Lutheran Social Services of Illinois, Sam Sipes, Lutheran Services Florida and LSA Board Chair, Don Stiger, Lutheran HealthCare and Kirsten Peachey, the Director of Congregational Health Partnerships from Advocate Health Car. They joined Lutheran Services in America CEO and President Charlotte Haberaecker at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building for presentations and discussions with other faith community leaders and Administration officials.
