Working Together to Transform Lives
The members of Lutheran Services in America (LSA) comprise one of the largest health care and human services networks in the United States. Our members - more than 300 nonprofit organizations - have combined annual revenues of nearly $21 billion and employ close to a quarter of a million people. Our network serves one in every 50 people in the U.S. each year with a wide array of services spanning the spectrum from adoption services to senor care, and every age and stage in between.
For more than 150 years, Lutheran social ministry organizations have been trailblazers in the establishment and delivery of health care and social services in this country. Our members provide a diversity of services designed to help individuals and communities to overcome challenges and live more abundant lives. Our members work in rural and urban communities and are serving neighbors of every age from a wide variety of faiths, languages and cultures.
We Serve All
As a faith-based network, LSA and its members have always focused on one core mission: answering God's call to love and serve our neighbors. It is an organization of members each founded in the Lutheran church, and open to all.
