This study guide is written by the Rev. Dr. J. Paul Balas and can be used for a one or two day retreat, or as a series of shorter studies.
- Becoming a Trustee of Lutheran Values. Written by the Rev. Dr. Arthur W. Scherer, this resource is designed for use in orienting new Board members regarding what it means to be a Lutheran social ministry organization. Great for ensuring that the Board is always operating from the same essential foundation.
- Being Lutheran Means
Written by Margaret Schmitt Ajer, this is a set of six devotions designed to be used at Board meetings to discuss and reflect upon basic Lutheran theological emphases that under gird our self-understanding as Lutheran organizations engaged in social ministry.
