An imminent vote is expected in the Senate on H.R. 7217, the IMPROVE Act. The legislation includes a three-month extension of the Money Follows the Person Medicaid Demonstration Program. This extension will build a bridge into the 116th Congress, where we can advocate for a longer renewal. The House passed a version of this legislation on December 11, 2018.
Contact your Senators today and tell them to vote yes on H.R. 7217 to fund Money Follows the Person.

Money Follows the Person is a critically important Medicaid Demonstration program that helps seniors and people with disabilities move from nursing homes and other institutional settings back home into the community. Yet, the program expired in 2016 and 12 states have already run out of funding for the program. The remaining states will run out on December 31, 2018. Without funding, it is impossible for states to maintain the infrastructure of the program. We need to act now to ensure this valuable program remains viable into the 116th Congress.
